Since 2017, Eric has been working at THARS.  First within the Building Bridges in Burundi Project (2017-2021) where he was a psychotherapist and held the Community Therapeutic Fair of Muyange, Nyanza-Lac commune Makamba province in the south of Burundi. Then, from June 2021, he worked as a psychotherapist and provincial manager of the program for the integration of mental health care into the health system in Burundi, in Ngozi in the north of the country.

Sosthène has been an economic development trainer at THARS since 2021. He received his bachelor's degree in educational science from the University of Hope of Africa in 2013.  Within THARS he coordinate schedules, trainings, resources, and information associated with the Econ Dev 2021 "Ishure ry' Urudandazwa Rudakumira program", act as a liaison with clients/beneficiaries to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives, Coach and monitor income-generating activities/IGAs. He is experienced in project management: Design and development, implementation and monitoring – evaluation of projects. He is married and has four children.

Joyeuese has been a psychotherapist of THARS since 2009. Currently, she is working at the THARS head office in Bujumbura as a project manager serving the Burundi, Tuyage area. Local expert within THARS as well as Assistant to the Head of Programs, she has been in charge of Community Therapeutic Fairs in different projects such as Kuvuga Akahise (let us talk about the past), Building Brigdes of Burundi, and Burundi Tuyage (Let us talk about it). Equipped with exceptional experience in facilitating psychosocial care and workshops sessions of memory healings. THARS has invested heavily in her and uses her experience in offering its services to various organizations.

She joined the THARS association in 2006. THARS helped her heal and overcome the traumas due to the past and the difficult moment that the country went through. After being healed by THARS' approach to overcoming trauma due to the past and after various trainings on quilting/tailoring/sewing, THARS hired her to work on their SHONA project (quilt making) until 2012. Today, she works in the Feeling for the Hungry children "FGW" project which takes care of feeding vulnerable children in the BATTA community.

Cassien has been a THARS Psychotherapist since 2017. He is serving the community of Muyinga province as the head of the Community Therapeutic Fair successively in the Nyubahiriza, Kuvuga akahise and Burundi, Tuyage projects. He has exceptional experience in facilitating Memory Healing, EMDR protocol and psychosocial management training; THARS has used its experience in offering its services to various organizations. He has been very involved in counseling young people and couples in a religious setting.

Scheilla  has a degree in Mental Health and Psychiatry and completed her professional internship at THARS. Thanks to this, she was able to follow different trainings, such as EMDR Basic Training, the training of trainers on civil protection for peace, the Alternative to Violence Program, Conflict Analysis, and the violence prevention through good parenting training. Currently, she is employed as a psychologist in Rumonge as part of the DUKIRE TUBANAMAHORO (Let us get healed and live in peace) project at THARS.
