Full-Time and Part-Time Employment
We are now looking for motivated counselors who are kind, compassionate and have great clinical skills. We offer competitive wages, health care, a retirement plan and training. Even though we are a non-profit, we have set up our counseling agency so that it is like a private practice. For example, what you bring into the agency, we take a percentage, and you keep the rest. So you will be making a competitive wage right from the start. However, we are also a. non-profit which means we have the ability to write grants and serve populations that may not have funding. For example, we have funded group work for youth, parenting classes in the community, and also counseling for those who have no insurance through our grant writing. Our goal is to have the best counselors working with populations that generally receive limited services and resources.
And due to this reputation in the community our phones ring off the hook. We cannot keep up with the amount of business that is sent our way. So if you are interested, apply today.
These are the job requirements and expectations:
A master’s degree Marriage and Family Therapy or in Clinical Mental Health.
The ability to apply for licensure in the state of Oregon, with the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists (OBLCT) or have you license (LPC or LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
You will need to be willing to be at staff meetings and staff consultations group which meet on Wednesdays at noon.
If you are wanting full-time work, you will need to maintain a minimum of 24 client contact hours per week. If you are wanting part-time employment, you will need to maintain a minimum of 10 hours per week.
